Urban Mobility Systems B.V. (UMS) is a leading provider of innovative mobility solutions in Oss. We specialise in the design, manufacture and maintenance of advanced electric vehicles and associated infrastructure.
From June 2025, UMS will be part of listed German company DEUTZ. UMS will become part of a new (green) division within DEUTZ, the aim of the acquisition is to accelerate the growth of UMS, turnover is expected to increase at least fivefold in the coming years.
To facilitate this growth, we are looking for an ambitious financial, who can and wants to really get his feet in the mud, but also has an eye for the bigger picture. In the coming year, UMS will redesign the finance function, virtually all financial processes will be reviewed. In addition, all internal financial reports need to be set up. There is a need for someone who will take the lead in this, involving and enthusing the administrative staff. In this, you will be coached by the group CFO.
What will you do as Manager Finance
- Responsible for financial administration including (checking) tax returns
- Leading the administration department; it is a team under construction, together with the employees (2 fte) you will divide the work, the intention is that you will increasingly act as a business partner and the administration will function independently
- Drawing up and reviewing budgets
- Preparing for and assisting with audits and controls
- Preparation of periodic reports; monthly results, cash flow, inventory, etc.
- Driver of improvements
Who are you and what do we ask of you as Manager Finance
- The most important trait is ambition; having the will and perseverance to set up and build the department. In doing so, you must have the drive to get into the details
- Direct communicator, you will work in a production environment
- Completed HBO/WO education in a financial field
- Relevant financial (experience)
- Communication skills; both oral and written in Dutch and English
- Very good Excel skills
We warmly invite broadly oriented financials (business and financial controllers, accountants, etc.), without executive/management experience, to respond. This is an ideal step towards a broader final responsibility role.
