You will work at Urban Mobility Systems B.V., a leading clean tech engineering company enabling zero-emission construction machinery and mobility solutions. Do you have experience drawing 3D models of excavators and construction vehicles? What will you do as Mechanical Engineer

You will be working in the Engineering department, working on sustainable battery-electric powered construction machines and vehicles from well-known brands such as Hyundai, DAF, Liebherr and Bobcat. All modifications to these machines will be drawn by you! The work for which you will be responsible:

Creating 3D designs with SolidWorks.
Production of 2D design and execution drawings.
Independently lead small-scale projects, such as designing market-specific modifications to existing machine models.
Be involved in the development of new machines.
Determine design specifications and project planning of machine modifications.
Be responsible for the mechanical design of vehicles and drive projects.
Support the manager by creating and suggesting improvements in quality and ease of use.
Initiate and participate in consultations with workshop and suppliers.
Liaise with suppliers on manufacturability and feedback.
Visiting suppliers.

Who are you and what do we ask of you as Mechanical Engineer

To be considered for this challenging and dynamic position:

You have a technical education; a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field such as mechatronics or automotive.
Working experience as a draftsman/constructor in mechanical engineering, automotive or off-highway industry.
A clear and structured way of working.
A collegial attitude, good communication skills and strong technical understanding.
Command of the English language; Dutch is a plus.
You are solution- and service-oriented.
Accustomed to dealing with complex design projects and the resulting (time) pressure.
Knowledge of automotive and/or internal combustion engines is a plus.
Experience with CAD and PDM systems (experience with SolidWorks is a plus).
