You will work at Urban Mobility Systems B.V., a leading provider of innovative mobility solutions, based in Oss. We specialise in the design, manufacture and maintenance of advanced electric vehicles and associated infrastructure. Our products are used worldwide to make cities greener and more sustainable. What will you do as Field & Service Technician
As a Fault Technician, you will play a crucial role in our company. You will be responsible for detecting and rectifying faults in our electric vehicles and charging infrastructure on site and in the workshop. You will work both independently and as part of a team and are willing to travel to various locations within the Netherlands and possibly sometimes abroad. Your main tasks and responsibilities include:
- Perform fault analysis and locate defects in our vehicles and charging infrastructure.
- Repair and upgrade electric vehicles and associated systems.
- Perform modifications to prevent failures.
- Report work performed and maintain technical documentation.
- Engineering advising on common failures and improvements.
- Advise customers and provide technical support.
- Work according to applicable safety rules and procedures.
Who are you and what do we ask of you as Field & Service Technician
- A completed technical education at MBO level or higher, for example in the field of electrical engineering, automotive engineering or mechatronics.
- Experience as a breakdown engineer or similar position is a plus.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and affinity with electric vehicles.
- In possession of a valid driving licence B.
- A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Good communication skills and customer-oriented.
- Willingness to travel and work outside regular office hours if required.
- A team player with a proactive work ethic.
