What will you do as Work planner

As a Work Planner, you are an important link in the success of our projects. You coordinate the preliminary process, ensure efficient planning and organise the purchasing and logistics of materials. By translating technical drawings into bills of materials (BOM lists) and implementing these accurately in our ERP system (Exact), you lay the foundation for flawless execution. Moreover, you carry out periodic checks to ensure that everything is correct and up-to-date.

  • Prepare and check work orders and pick lists per work order.
  • Reviewing, entering and keeping up-to-date bills of materials (BOM lists) in the ERP system (Exact).
  • Analysing pre- and post-calculations and identifying savings opportunities or ways to reduce costs.
  • Create detailed schedules and monitor progress.
  • Checking technical drawings and BOM lists.
  • Administrative preparation for inspection of incoming materials.
  • Preparing and subcontracting work and services by third parties.
  • Initiate consultations and collaborate with various departments to successfully coordinate projects.

Who are you and what do we ask of you as Work planner

  • A completed MBO 4 course in mechanical, electrical or similar engineering.
  • 3-4 years of relevant work experience in mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
  • Administrative skills and technical understanding to read and understand working drawings.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects.
  • A solution-oriented and critical attitude: you see problems as challenges and actively think along.
  • Strong communication skills, with a flexible and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and take responsibility.
