WHAT YOU WILL DO AS Mechanical Engineer

You will be working in the Engineering department, which develops sustainable battery-powered propulsion solutions and vehicles from well-known brands such as Hyundai, DAF, Liebherr, and Bobcat. You will be responsible for drawing all modifications to these machines!

  • Creating 3D designs with SolidWorks
  • Producing 2D design and implementation drawings
  • Independently leading small-scale projects, such as designing market-specific modifications to existing machine models
  • Being involved in the development of new machines
  • Determining design specifications and project planning for machine modifications
  • Being responsible for the mechanical design of vehicles and being the driving force behind projects
  • Supporting the manager by creating and proposing improvements in quality and ease of use
  • Initiating and participating in consultations with the workshop and suppliers
  • Maintain contact with suppliers regarding manufacturability and feedback
  • Visit suppliers.

WHO YOU ARE AS Mechanical Engineer

  • You have a technical education; a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field such as mechatronics or automotive
  • Work experience as a draughtsman/designer in the mechanical engineering, automotive, or off-highway industry
  • A clear and structured way of working
  • A collegial attitude, good communication skills, and strong technical insight
  • Proficiency in English; Dutch is an advantage
  • You are solution- and service-oriented
  • Accustomed to dealing with complex design projects and the resulting (time) pressure
  • Knowledge of automotive and/or combustion engines is an advantage
  • Experience with CAD and PDM systems (experience with SolidWorks is an advantage).
